When I first boogied into the VO world, I clocked a major split between agency repped and freelance voiceover artists.
The agency talent had dibs on the best gigs, while the freelancers were left with scraps.
This spun me out!
Don’t get me wrong, agency talent are solid, but freelancers are just as good.
Spent waaay too much on unnecessary tech. And took the long route around the roller rink. Skinned knees and all (wouldn't recommend).
So after I found my groove in the industry, I made it my mission to bridge the gap between mediocre gigs and top-end gigs for freelance talent.
